Maccabi Tel-Aviv's Yoav Ziv got Stoke's Cameron Jerome sent off for his dramatic reaction to an arm that was somewhere in the general vicinity of his body shortly before halftime in their Europa League match on Thursday night. And 10 minutes after the break, Ziv became the aggressor when he kicked his boot (which had fallen off when he got his foot stepped on) at the linesman as an expression of his frustration over not being given a free kick. Though he immediately tried to apologize, the red card came out and he was sent off.
As childish as this was, you have to admit that his accuracy and power were both pretty impressive.
