While they're handing out indefinite bans and possibly a whipping to players who goose their teammates in the Iranian first division, they're far too busy having gang assaults on referees to worry about such things in the second division.
After the ref gave away side Shahrdari Dezfool a decisive penalty in added time and showed a Chooka Talesh player his second yellow, the home team savagely attacked the referee. Their fans then joined in and the ref struggled to hurry off the pitch as the mob continued their attacks. He eventually made it behind a gate and probably reassessed his desire to be a referee.
